  • Off the beaten path…

I believe I have at least another day’s posts with photos from Scotland, but perhaps I shall take care of it all here.

The day I arrived I went to look at the venue and on our way back we stopped at the registrar’s office for last minute details.  While the bride and groom were attending to such matters I decided to go for a wander.  A little bridge took me across a wee river and into the countryside.  This is one of the things I love about Scotland.  Take a small detour almost anywhere and you are lead to a magical space.

The old country lane was bordered by a rock wall and the horses on the other side were very interested in visiting.

It was a lovely afternoon as I was just starting to feel the effects of the previous night’s travel and lack of sleep.
